What is a “craft fail”?

Have you ever started an *amazing* project, worked for ages and ages, put in blood, sweat, and tears, and then, at your moment of triumph….it was a failure?  Yes, because you are human.  BUT(!) in a moment of good humor or rage (or something), did you document it?  I really hope so!  Let your wayward craft loose on the world to bring joy and laughter to others, and laugh at yourself a bit, too, because we can’t be perfect ALL the time.  I’m looking forward to sharing some of my “craft fails”, but I want to see yours, too.  If you would like to submit a craft fail to be considered as a post on this blog, please e-mail me at patternandbranch@gmail.com with a story about what happened, if you tried to salvage it and what followed, as well as some pictures.  I reserve the right to edit all posts for typos and grammatical errors as well as to edit for length, if necessary.  I’ll consider any creative project provided it is appropriate for all ages and can be communicated in text and pictures.  I won’t be able to post all submissions, but I will look through each one.  If your first one doesn’t get posted, try submitting another!  I can’t wait to see what you’ve got.
