I woke up this morning and realized right away that I had completely forgotten to prepare a blog post for today! Haha. That doesn’t usually happen! So, it’s coming a little late, but better late than never. Here are some of the things I’ve seen outside (and a few inside!) this month.
My family and I went to the New England Aquarium this week. The created world is so amazing (and so, to a much lesser degree, are the phones in our cameras these days)! I can’t believe these pictures turned out, but here are a few from the Aquarium.
We also had a day this week that was in the 70’s (Fahrenheit), so of course we went to the beach…as did everyone else. I fell in love with the colors of the sky.
And now for the way that most of February looked.
See you next week!
September has flown by around here. The beginning was definitely still summer, but now the cooler weather is coming in. I don’t know if I’m ready or not, but I bought some fleece, I’m ready for pumpkin spice everything now that the autumnal equinox has passed and starting tomorrow, I’m all about the candy corn. 😉 Here are some things I saw outside this month. It’s been beautiful.
I think it’s time for a photography post, don’t you? I have plenty of sewing to share, but we went for a walk in the woods recently, and I took lots of fun pictures that I want to show you. Of course if you were to look out my living room window now, it would look nothing like when I took these pictures. Now our area is covered in snow, but we made it through a month of official winter before it turned really cold and snowy.
I’ve been experimenting with sun shining into my camera. I don’t quite have it figured out yet, but it’s fun to try.
Look at that green! Living in the north has taught me that after a winter of grey and white and black, you can crave the color green.
Of course we need some interesting fungi, too. You can’t have a walk in the woods without that, right? 😉
This week has been steady rain, but last week, my wreath-making day was gorgeous.
A friendly face in the woods…
Looks like I’m not the only one enjoying the woods. 🙂
I hope your weekend is filled with beautiful weather and the time and space to enjoy it.
